Our Response to COVID-19

Keir Steele Waldon Lawyers would like to advise that we remain open for business while we closely monitor developments in relation to the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Australia.

Our priority is the safety of our staff, clients, colleagues, and families and like many businesses, we are taking appropriate steps to minimise the spread of COVID-19 whilst ensuring that we can continue to service our clients during what is an uncertain time for all Australians.

To date, COVID-19 has not impacted our ability to provide advice and support to our clients. We have proactively taken steps in addition to those recommended by the Department of Health, to reduce the risk of infection to our staff and clients and to do our part in limiting the spread of COVID-19. As of today, we have implemented the following additional measures:

All non-essential staff travel, which includes travel between our Townsville and Ingham offices, has been restricted;

Client meetings will now be conducted via telephone or video-conference (Skype or Facetime) where possible. If you already have a face-to-face meeting scheduled, you will be contacted by one of our team members to reschedule the meeting via phone or video-conference;

We appreciate your support and understanding of these measures.

Though our offices remain open for the time being, we are closely monitoring the situation in both Townsville and Ingham and will respond accordingly as the situation evolves.  As a company, we are prepared and ready to work remotely for an extended period with minimal impact on our services, should the need arise.
