Connor is a member of Keir Steele Lawyer’s planning and environmental law team. Connor works closely with Principal, Moya Steele providing strategic advice to clients in all areas of law regarding planning, development and project management.
While working with clients in the private and public sectors, Connor and his team ensure that they across all of the latest developments in planning and environmental law, practice and procedure. This up to date knowledge is crucial to ensuring they continue to provide commercially relevant and cost effective service.

Connor thrives in the fast-paced environment which sees him managing development applications, tackling complex environmental issues and providing guidance to local government. He has assisted major developers across Queensland by providing pragmatic legal assistance during the crucial stages of the planning and environmental approval process. He also works with local government, assisting with their operational and day to day responsibilities.

Planning and environment law is the perfect fit for Connor, who studied Regional and Town Planning at the University of Queensland before completing his law degree.
Prior to joining Keir Steele Lawyers, Connor worked in the Department of Justice and Attorney-General where he assisted on multiple Commissions of Inquiry and assisted in establishing the Office of the Director of Child Protection Litigation.
A native of the far Northern NSW town of Murwillumbah, Connor loves the similarly relaxed vibe of North Queensland. As an accomplished classical guitarist, Connor enjoys listening to, and playing jazz and blues in his down time, as well as hanging out with his rescue dog, Watson.
