Dominique’s ability to communicate with people from all walks of life and her flair for problem solving has seen her assist many clients achieve successful outcomes in insurance and commercial disputes.
A North Queensland girl originally, Dominique moved from Mackay to Brisbane at the age of 17 to study law. Since then, she has honed her skills with national and global law firms in the areas of Personal Injuries law and Commercial Litigation.
Dominique has had the benefit of working on “both sides of the fence”, successfully representing individuals as well as large insurers in workers compensation and motor accident insurance matters. This combination of experience means Dominique can provide her clients with well-rounded strategic advice.
Dominique also has a vast range of experience in the general commercial litigation sphere, where she has acted for large construction companies and their insurers, as well as allied health practitioners.
Most recently, before returning to North Queensland, Dominique undertook a secondment with the Prime Minister’s Office of the Government of the Republic of Vanuatu. Dominique assisted government officials with negotiating successful outcomes in disputes with international construction companies.
Dominique now intends to use her drive and passion to achieve the best outcome for her regional clients.
If Dominique is not at work, she’s likely to be on her family owned cane farm, feeding the animals and helping her parents irrigate through the drier months.
