Having worked in North Queensland property law for more than a decade, Kathleen is proud of being involved in the growth of Townsville and the surrounding region. “I’ve helped hundreds of North Queensland families to establish small business operations and become significant contributors to the local economy.”
Kathleen works closely with landlords and tenants of commercial, retail and rural properties and thrives on the challenges of commercial and property law. Kathleen’s clients benefit from the thorough and considered advice, practical solutions and prompt service which she provides in a cost effective manner.
As well as significant expertise in property law, Kathleen also works closely with families to simplify the often daunting process of preparing a Will, or administering a loved ones’ estate. As a mum of two, Kathleen knows that family is the most important thing in life. She ensures that the process of estate planning is as smooth and stress free as possible, so that families have peace of mind that their investments will be passed on in the most effective way.
When asked why she became a lawyer, Kathleen said that it was initially to follow in her father’s footsteps, “I was always inspired by my dad’s passion for the law, but now I realise that it wasn’t just the technical legal work that attracted him, it’s the long-term relationships that you get to build with clients, helping them grow their businesses and deliver them the best outcome over the course of their investments”.
